Its feeling all 'Spring' like today, Late this afternoon with a little help from Sweet pea after School we decorated our (wilkinsons) blossom branches, (brought last Easter)...and all of my Easter egg decors are a few years old. The hand painted ones were from my Cousins wedding~ All the bridesmaids had little baskets filled with nests and eggs...I think I needed a splash of bright, happy colours~ Its been dark, grey and quite miserable the last few days~ feels bitterly cold. Its been nice to do something joyful after a mad few days of filling in forms/ applications and other paperwork...and getting back into the Cold Morning School runs.
Is it the Easter hols yet???? hehehe!!!!. Can't wait til it warms up a bit...
So,
Anyway,
Springs here in my Kitchen...
lets get back to joyful Spring Colours!...
I love decorating the home for the seasons...
Pretty pastel colours and Sunny light...Sing 'Spring' to me.
8/52 weeks of Happy , Simple joys...
* Spending a joyful half term with my Sweet pea.
* seeing blossom on the park tree's beginning to bud.
* walks, lovely Country walks...beside the Cornish sea, on the moor's and down by the streams.
* Roses in the National Trust garden.
* My niece telling me 'I'm her favourite'...bless her!.
* Laughing over Sweet pea's homework ( I will show you in another post).
* Hot chocolates and creamy hot cuppa's~ Warmth after a Bitterly cold School run!.
* getting my creative buzz back and finally making and drawing again!.
* Sweet pea running up to me after her School day telling me she 'LOVES me'...

i love your spring decor. I so want to be one of those people that decorate for all the seasons, but i just never seem to get around to it! maybe this year?
ReplyDeleteI too can not wait for spring to finally arrive. I signed up for a spring swap and it has re-awakened my creative soul and your beautiful spring pictures and Easter tree are evocative of the season and bring joy to those who view them. I have never done a spring tree before but this year is going to be the first of many.
ReplyDeleteYour blog as always is a joy and I have much yearning to have your way with words.
Bright blessings and much peace for the season x
Your Easter decorations are so pretty. I love the pale, chalky colors. I agree with you, springtime can't come soon enough. I even bought an Easter egg-dying kit today, just to help things along. :)

ReplyDeleteI must hunt out my Easter decs - probably have to put less up this year as I am preparing my house for sale. Nevermind next year when I have my own home again I can do what I want :)
I love the "blossom" branches much nicer than bare twigs and the eggs look like little cameoes, you always have so much fun. Love the rabbit light aswell might just have to get myself one of those. Curtains upcycled into a gorgeous skirt she mentions, pop over if you have a minute, (that's me being forward but ever so excited) Lucey xx
ReplyDeleteI love Easter. I have lots of egg decorations as well. I also hang them on twigs and around my front door. It always looks so colourful. Love yours.
